In this city, one of our most treasured and honored holiday traditions is the Theatre Memphis’ production of the classic tale, “A Christmas Carol.” For more than 40 years, this play has drawn young and old alike to witness Ebenezer Scrooge’s transformation from a mean old miser to someone filled with love and kindness.

This year, performances for “A Christmas Carol” in Memphis are scheduled to start November 30 and end on December 23.

There are also several special events scheduled for this year’s “A Christmas Carol” in Memphis, including:
- A reunion night on November 30 at 7 p.m. for previous cast and crew members of nighttime productions of “A Christmas Carol.”
- “Holiday for Heroes” on December 13 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for teachers, first responders, firefighters, police officers and members of the military who live in and around Shelby County. There is a limit of four per family.
