A festival of collaborations among musicians and artists of diverse genres from Memphis and beyond, bringing to life unique performances and workshops in the award-winning Crosstown Concourse. Now in its third year, this festival for the adventurous listener will include performances at Crosstown Theater, The Green Room, East Atrium Stage, and a special collaboration with Opera Memphis.
Memphis is Me serves as a “back to school” event for Visible Music College students from who move to Memphis from 50 states and 30 countries, a street festival for the Madison Avenue Association members and residents, and a family event for wholesome music to be shared in a large city downtown for families and friends to enjoy musi together in community.
Join us as Memphis-based singer-songwriter Amy LaVere performs on the Kemmons Wilson Family Stage at Crosstown Theater in anticipation of her new album release. Painting Blue is due out on August 16th on Nine Mile Records.

The culmination of the biSoultennial contest will be a party at the Stax Museum where the Top Ten songs will be announced on Thursday, August 15 at 7pm. Local DJs will spin Memphis classics all night long and current Memphis musicians will announce the Top Ten and present an award to a musician, writer, producer, or family member associated with each of the Top Ten recordings chosen.
